Listen y'all. Hurricane or no hurricane, N'Orleans was a city of 450,000, of which 350,000 were poverty-stricken blacks.....that's right homey, Kayne West reached down inside and said what needed to be said and what better place to get attention. $450 Billion in Iraq, imagine if they just spent 5% of that total in N'Orleans....they could have rebuilt every public school, community centers, job retraining centers, LEVEES, created jobs, subsidized small business start-ups, day care, lunch programs....just %5 of that budget would have done all that. So let me say this my brothers and sisters....it's time to make Martin Luthers dream a reality, time to rise up and stop this bullshit.....we need to put it together, work like a communicty, stop the black-on-black violence, come together and put our own people in D.C. and support our people on the Hill, we need to stop giving our vote to the white-man that continues to do nothing for us....let's put it together and create our dream, cause ain't nobody going to do it for us. For all you affluent blacks in American...don't leave your people behind, come back to the hood and show us how....peace out.

I am a big fan of kanye's... music, that is. but honestly what he did was one of the most stupid things he could ever do, he should have shut his mouth and stuck to the script.
people should KNOW THE FACTS before critisizing and judging George Bush... or just anybody for that matter.
So unless i know excately what happened... what decisions were made, what orders were given and what actions were taken... behind closed doors the day the huricane hit i'll keep my opinion to myself.
And of course what Kanye did was pure publicity stunt and I am sure his reputation is already suffereing from that. because after all the immediate effect of his stupidness was harmful to the tv program which was meant to raise money for vicitms. Kanye, stick to making great hits and leave politics to politicians.

'shame even lincoln didn't live up to his rhetoric eh! participating in politics is everyone's right and if they have something to say, then hell yeah, they should. i thought america was a democracy. may be u americans wound up with prat for a president by 'leaving it to the politicians.' racism is real everywhere and america is no exception, so if kanye trembles a little bit, it might be because he speaks the truth in a place where the new name for truth is controversy. what does veritas mean again?

What controversy? Kanye's fifteen minutes are almost up and President bush will remain a dignified two term president who stared down islamo-fascism. Kanye is an opportunistic 2 bit punk. I laughed out loud when the little boy began to tremble as he struggled to put together one coherent sentence during his Red Cross rant. Leave the politics to the politicians. Entertainers need to know that when they wander off track they risk offending half of their audience. The thinking half anyway. I wonder how much his selfish prank cost the Red Cross recovery effort? It is clear that Mr. West only sees things in black and white. I don't see even a hint of "Jesus Walking" in his hateful, vacant eyes. Mr. West, we are a nation under seige by nature and by a ruthless enemy. Your childish
jab at our Commander in Chief gives aid and comfort to our enemies.
We are not black or white, we are AMERICANS. This homo just ain't buyin Kanye's crap.
