The African dream team, aka France’s les bleus wins over Brazil. It was magic… Who told you Africa didn’t make it to quarter-finals? With Zidane from Algerie, Henry from FWI, Vieira from Cabo Verde, Makelele from Congo, etc…

viera is born in dakar, sénégal but he’s from cabo verde because his parents are from cabo verde!!
This video shows the oposite of what I felt after the game. Remembering it even hurts. Brazilian team was beated, France played much better. We felt upset because we expected much more from our players. Soccer is a kind of pride we have, among things we’re not proud of, like social differences and govern corruption. In front of the world, our team did nothing, just let France play. Zidane and Henry did great… Reading these words you wrote, however, makes me feel better. I’m glad the winners are actually from Africa. I don’t know why, but we, from Brazil, feel close to Africa. But now I’ll be cheering for Portugal. But if it was an African country at the finals, I would choose it. Close or farway in time, we all came from Africa. For sure.
Patrick Vieira was born in Senegal but his parents are from Cape Verde Islands.
John: So I was right…
Giselle: I know how u feel boo… As for me, I support Brazil (of course), France (cause I live here) and Portugal (cause I’m from there partly)… So to me, it’s a win win situation
Hussein: Aight homie… See u there…
