That was maybe one of the beautifullest moments out there in Lubango. We went to this very nice guy’s house and spent the night outside, barbecueing with a warm fire. It felt very nice and romantic to be with good people, that’s the type of moment when I regret not having a girlfriend, but to cheer me up, I got tarraxinha (the angolan zouk) dance lessons with this gorgeous woman that I forgot to ask the name and number… duh…

Voila peut etre un des meilleurs moments la-bas à Lubango. On est allé chez ce tres gentil monsieur et on a passé la nuit dehors avec barbecue et feu de bois. C’etait tres beau et tres romantique, c’est à ces moments là que je regrette de pas avoir de nana. Pour me consoler, cette superbe jeune fille m’a donné des lecons de tarraxinha, le zouk angolais, et evidemment, j’ai oublié de lui demander son number… duh…
Time flies, kids grow, we get old…
I just remember seeing this one coming out of his moms belly, and watching him on his bike or brushing his teeth himself is just amazing… Good work Vav…

It was a sweet days. Two sweet little beautiful fans came to see us and tell me how much they liked me and each wanted to buy a cd. Problem, we only had one cd left to sell. So Mike decided to sell it to the youngest. Ouh dram, tears, yelling… You finally gave Whitney a Loony Johnson album, but babygirl was pissed anyway… Heard she cried la night, poor little girl… Broke a heart again… sob!

La journée avait bien commencé. Deux magnifique tres jeunes fans sont venues me dire comme elles aimaient ma musique et elles voulaient acheter un album chacune. Probleme, il n’y avait plus qu’un cd en stock. Alors Mike l’a vendu à la plus jeune. Ouh drame, larmes, cris… J’ai fini par donner un album de Loony Johnson à la jolie Whitney, mais trop tard, l’enfant etait trop enervée… On m’a dit qu’elle a sangloté toute la nuit la pauvre… J’ai encore brisé un coeur… snif!
We met a great group called Showas. The father, Paulo is the manager and exec producer, the daughter, son & cousins are the group called Showas, which is also their family name. And there’s is some talent in there. I love seeing that in Africa…

On a rencontré un groupe apelé Showas. Le père, Paulo, est manager et producteur, la fille, le fils et les cousins forment le groupe Showas, et c’est aussi leur nom de famille. Et en plus ils sont talentueux. J’adore voir ca en Afrique…
