Kaysha meets Lambazouk on stage

I told you I was into this lambazouk thing! So, I was proposed by Baya & Heber to have them on stage while I perform “One Love” in London. Well what can I say, it was so beautiful, the dance just match my song just as much as zouk or tarraxa. I just want to thank Baya and Heber again because they are just so beautiful when they dance and it was an honor for me to promote their beautiful dancing…

Je vous ai dit que j’etais à fond dans la lambazouk! Alors, Baya et Heber m’ont proposé de danser sur “One Love” pendant mon show à Londres. Que vous dire à part que c’etait magnifique, la dance rendait tellement bien sur ma chanson, aussi bien que du zouk ou de la tarraxa. Je tiens particulierement à encore remercier Baya et Heber parce qu’ils sont si beaux quand ils dansent et c’etait un honeur pour moi de promotionner leurs beaux pas…

Back in London for, I dunno, the 10th time maybe this year? All I have to say is thanks for the fans cause just because of you, I travel like crazy. This time, I came for the French Touch Party, organized by my friend Richard Dimosi and his team. Great people, very professionnal, I like that. We went to Camden Town & Brixton with Lynnsha to do a photoshoot, was pretty cool. There was party the saturday too, was nice and I finally saw my friend Marie again, I love this girl, she’s so cool & beautiful…

De retour à Londres pour la, je sais pas moi, 10eme fois? Grace à vous mes fans je voyage comme un malade, alors je vous dis juste merci. Cette fois si j’etais la à l’occasion de la French Touch Party organisée par Richard Dimosi mon ami, et son team bien sur. Tres pros, c’est bien. On a fait un photoshoot avec Lynnsha à Camden Town & Brixton, c’etait cool. Sinon il y avait aussi une soirée le samedi, bien bien, et j’ai pu aussi revoir mon amie Marie, je l’adore, elle est trop belle, trop cool…

Okay, this song is especially for my momma that I love. It’s called “Mama, my woman”, it’s the deepest song I’ve ever wrote I think, I hope you will like it. Now see the way I do my chorus Jodeci style with lots of voices and crazy harmonies? Well, this is how we do. Afro-Caribbean music with that RnB influence.
That girl that sings at the end is the new artist I’ve been working with for the last 6 months. Her album will not be out before april 2007, but that girl can sing even at 4am. I call her name is Thay.

Okay, cette chanson, je l’ai faite specialement pour ma maman que j’aime. Je l’ai appelée “Mama, my woman”, une des chansons les plus profondes que j’ai ecrit et j’espere que ca vous plaira. Vous voyez comment je fais les choeurs Jodeci style? Beaucoup de voix et plein d’harmonies? C’est comme ca qu’on fait, musique Afro-Caribéenne avec cette influence RnB.
La petite qui chante à la fin? C’est une fille tres talentueuse avec qui je travaille depuis deja 6 mois, son album ne sortira que vers avril 2007, mais l’enfant chante meme à 4h du mat. Son nom c’est Thay.

Damn! My appartment is a mess… Sunday will be spring cleaning. Anyway, between two studio sessions, we headed to African restaurant Babylone Bis to rock some ember chicken with Anofela, Top One and Providence. Now Top is trying to explain to me that he would be serious with my cousin and I’m trying to explain him that I don’t wanna know nuttin’ about this shit!

Damn! Quel bordel dans cet appart… Dimanche, nettoyage de printemps. Enfin, entre deux sceances de studio, on s’est fait un ptit Babylone bis, histoire de froisser du poulet braisé with Anofela, Providence et Top One? Et voila que Top tente de me convaincre que ma cousine serait bien dans ses bras, et je lui explique que je ne veux rien savoir…

Donc c’est le loup qui à cassé mon bracelet hein? Damn, les enfants commencent à mentir quand ils deviennent intelligents et apprennent les subtilités du language. Je sais qu’il ne tient pas ca de moi vu que je ne ment jamais. Donc je dois voir du coté de sa mater, lol…
En tous cas, des merveilleux moments que de profiter de son fils, l’emmener à l’ecole à 7h30 du mat et retourner à Paris plein d’energie positive pour la sceance de studio…

Let me show you my old neighborhood. This place is called le marrais. It’s the gay neighborhood of Paris, near Chatelet. I’ve lived there like a year and it was so great. Gays are great people u know? As long as they don’t approach my ass they cool, lol…
So we went there with my friend Aiva looking for jewelry for me, but we didn’t find what I was looking for. Anyway, just to let u see Chatelet, le Marrais, Beaubourg, the great places of Paris center…

Laissez moi vous montrer mon ancien quartier. On apelle le coin “le marrais”. C’est le quartier Gay de Paris, juste derriere Chatelet. J’y ai habité pres d’un an et j’ai kiffé. Les deps sont super cools vous savez? Enfin, tant qu’ils ne s’approchent pas de mon fessier, c’est cool,lol…
Enfin, avec ma pote Aiva, on est allé chercher de la bijouterie pour moi, mais on a pas trouvé grand chose à se mettre sous la dent. Enfin, petite visite de Chatelet, Le Marrais, Beaubourg, des endroit supers dans le centre de Paris…
