I went to attend a zouk dance class of my friend Israel Szerman, Dj and dancer in Brasilia, Brazil. I also had the pleasure to meet his class and my flickr friend Giselle Otoni that I’ve been chatting with for a long time…
The way people dance zouk in Brazil is something between lambada, salsa and long hair throwing…

Je suis alle a l’ecole de danse de mon pote Israel Szerman, DJ et danseur de zouk a Brasilia, Bresil. J’ai aussi eu le plaisir de rencontrer ses eleves et ma pote sur flickr, Giselle Otoni, depuis le temps qu’on chatte sur le net ca fait plaisir…
Au Bresil, la danse zouk est un melange de lambada, de salsa et de jetter de long cheveux…

Now ain’t that fresh when you have your music traveling around the world? We, at Sushiraw, are great fans of the Lambazouk mouvement and I was really happy when my friend Baya sent me the link to these great dancers making so beautiful choregraphies on our music. This was on RTL5 in Neithermands I think…
And that young lady is exquisite… She can have me, all of me lol…

Mais ca dechire pas quand tu vois ta musique voyager tout autour du monde? Ici, à Sushiraw, on est grave fans du mouvement Lambazouk et ca m’a bien fait plaisir quand mon amie Baya m’as envoyé le lien vers cette super video de ces danseurs en train d’executer des choregraphies magnifiques sur notre musique. C’etait sur RTL5 aux Pays Bas je pense…
Et cette demoiselle est exquise… Elle fais de moi ce qu’elle veut lol…

I told you I was into this lambazouk thing! So, I was proposed by Baya & Heber to have them on stage while I perform “One Love” in London. Well what can I say, it was so beautiful, the dance just match my song just as much as zouk or tarraxa. I just want to thank Baya and Heber again because they are just so beautiful when they dance and it was an honor for me to promote their beautiful dancing…

Je vous ai dit que j’etais à fond dans la lambazouk! Alors, Baya et Heber m’ont proposé de danser sur “One Love” pendant mon show à Londres. Que vous dire à part que c’etait magnifique, la dance rendait tellement bien sur ma chanson, aussi bien que du zouk ou de la tarraxa. Je tiens particulierement à encore remercier Baya et Heber parce qu’ils sont si beaux quand ils dansent et c’etait un honeur pour moi de promotionner leurs beaux pas…

This video was sent to me straight from Brazil again, where the lambazouk scene is growing in every city. You can see Israel , Patica & Jéssica dancing sweetly on the track “Say ahh, say wahh” by Abégé & Kaysha. Damn, I gotta explore Brazil big time. The musical revolution is happening just in front of your eyes people…
